In 1960 Alfonso Facciola together with his wife Ginetta Pierdagnesa, and son Gianmarco, opened the hotel Edelweiss with just eight rooms, a shop and butchery. In 1974 Gianmarco took over the running of the hotel with his wife Jolanda Bernardini, and later their son Ugo and daughter Cristina helped with the expansion of the hotel. With love, great effort and passion, and thanks given to staff, the hotel is born and grows every day making it stand out from the rest. Tradition and strength of the Facciola family gives a notably family run hotel renowned for its high hospitality quality for client care and uniqueness.
